My sister is getting married!

The invites.
Quick and easy way to make invitations!  I crated my invite on the computer and printed them on brown  craft paper.  I then cut a mint color cardstock to back the invite.  I finished off the look with a little bit of gold glitter because how can you have a party without glitter?!

The set-up.
The tables set up in the backyard were covered with lace table cloths and spider mum flowers.
Gold chargers add a bit of class to an otherwise laid-back affair.  I also prefer to use my own dishes and silverware rather than paper or plastic.  I suggest investing in white dishes as they seem to fit any occasion.

The food.
We had an array or Quiches, fruit kabobs, yummy cupcakes and a beautiful cake. The cake was created by the same bakery that will be creating the wedding cake.  It was one of the most delicious cakes I have had in a long time!

Cheers.
I must admit I saw this idea on pinterest (follow me for all of my great finds).  I love the idea of the mimosa bar with different fruits to accompany your bubbly drink.  I also mixed up the juices with flavors like Orange-Strawberry-banana.  The drink table was a hit!

Sisters.
My sisters and I.  Colette is in the middle and also the bride-to-be.
We had a great day of celebrating!

I am a firm believer that every girl should have some piece of sequins hanging in her closet. One of my own favorites is this skirt from All Saints.  I love that sequin can be dressed up or down, for work or play.
